Healing Through Yoga:
1:1 Trauma-Informed Yoga & Mindfulness

Yoga is so much more than vinyasa flows, hamstring stretches, or perfecting crow or tree pose. At its roots, yoga is a path toward union; integration; wholeness; remembering ourselves.

Yoga is a practice of befriending our bodies, tending to our minds, and meeting the full truth of who we are with compassion.

And the most beautiful thing is that yoga is endlessly adaptable; it meets us exactly where we are, not where we “should” be.

While vinyasa can support us when we need focus or a spark of inner fire, the quieter tools of restorative yoga, somatic work, meditation, and mindfulness invite us into deeper healing.

These practices help us untangle stress, regulate our nervous system, reconnect with our body, and soften into the parts of ourselves that may have gone unheard.

Whether you’re living with known PTSD, tending to the layers of complex trauma, feeling the chronic strain of a marginalized identity, or just moving through the everyday stress and exhaustion of being human in this modern world, each session is shaped around what your body, mind, and heart are asking for that day.

How trauma-informed yoga sessions work:

1. Schedule your session, and you’ll receive an intake form by email shortly after. This form helps me understand what you’re navigating and what you’re hoping to receive from our time together.

2. I’ll reach out before our session.
You’ll have all the info you need, and space to ask questions or share anything that feels important.

3. We meet on Zoom at our scheduled time.
Your only requirement: be comfortable. Wear something comfy, sit on your sofa, your bed, your yoga mat…this time is about what YOU need.

4. We begin with a check-in.
Where are you today? What’s alive in your body? What’s asking to be seen, soothed, or supported? And then gently we’ll move into guided breath, somatic awareness, movement, and meditation, all based on what you need that day.

5. After our session, I’ll follow up.
A few days later, I’ll check in with you via email to see how you’re doing and share any practices or reflections that might support you.

The Story of You Astrology Book Report
